The BLUE GUSTAAF is an incredibly strong male with great balance and a rich violet eye.  His parents were bred by Gustaaf Cuypers (deceased) in Belgium.  The BLUE GUSTAAF is a full brother to the YOUNG GUSTAAF and the WITTEKOP.  We imported his parents into the United States in 2006.  There is not much documentation on the Cuypers pigeons as Gustaaf Cuypers was not a prolific record keeper.  However, he loved to play the short and middle distance races in the southern Belgian Province of Brabant.  So his pigeons were very fast in order to compete in races in Belgium with a shorter airline distance.  Coupled with DIAMONDS SPARKLE, a daughter of the WHITE DIAMOND from Antoine Jacops Vorselaar Belgium, the BLUE GUSTAAF bred DIAMOND JULIE, an AU CHAMPION and winner of four 1st prizes.
