DIAMOND JULIE AU 2014 LAMBERTON 150 is a 4 x 1st prize winner and an AU REGISTERED CHAMPION #1992. On May 2, 2015, JULIE scored her 4th career 1st prize totaling 142.23 ARUU national points which almost qualified her as an AU ELITE CHAMPION. Rather than racing her another year, DIAMOND JULIE was placed in the breeding loft at the beginning of the 2016 breeding season. DIAMOND JULIE is from the unique hybrid cross between the speed pigeons of Gustaaf Cuypers in southern Belgium and the all-distance champion racing pigeons of Antoine Jacops, Vorselaar Belgium. The sire to DIAMOND JULIE is the BLUE GUSTAAF, a full brother of the WITTEKOP, an AU ELITE CHAMPION, and the YOUNG GUSTAAF. All three brothers have bred excellent racing and breeding pigeons for Lamberton Racing Pigeons. We believe that they are the only remaining speed pigeons of their ancestry in the world. DIAMOND JULIE'S mother is the DIAMOND DOVE, a daughter of the WHITE DIAMOND bred by Antoine Jacops, Vorselaar Belgium. DIAMOND DOVE is also a pure white speed-bird from one of the fastest line-bred long-distance pigeons in Belgium. These long distance speed pigeons are bred down from DIAMOND ACE, the 1st Provincial Long Distance Ace in the Antwerp Union for Antoine Jacops, Vorselaar Belgium. DIAMOND DOVE trained to 100 miles very easily and she was such a spectacular hen that she was placed in the breeding loft without competing in a single pigeon race. Her first youngster, DIAMOND JULIE, more than justified that decision. DIAMOND JULIE is truly a racing miracle competing from 100 to 400 miles or 160 to 640 kilometers. She has a beautiful racing and breeding eye. She is compact - yet very buoyant. One of JULIE'S wins was into a rainy headwind and was quite a racing feat - much more difficult than the typical speed races from our Northeast Oklahoma Federation's southern race course often influenced by strong tail winds. DIAMOND JULIE'S first youngster is DIAMOND JADE, AU 2016 LAMBERTON 42 blue hen. JADE won a Northeast Oklahoma Federation race on September 23, 2016 from 170 miles/230 kilometers competing against 1154 pigeons from 40 lofts by 1 minute 34 seconds.
