Lamberton Racing Pigeons

The Super Pigeons of Antoine & Maria Jacops
Vorselaar Belgium
Antoine Jacops Official Web Site

The Lamberton's prefer to race the super pigeons of Antoine Jacops, Vorselaar Belgium.  The Jacops racing pigeons compete in short, middle-distance and long-distances races.  They compete with slow speeds and fast speeds.  They compete in head-winds or tail-winds.  They compete in rain or sunshine.  The super pigeons of Antoine Jacops can do it all and compete under any circumstances or in any conditions!  Antoine and Maria Jacops have been close personal friends of Dr. John Lamberton and the Lamberton family since 1986 when they met on a trip that Dr. Lamberton took with Mike Ganus USA to Belgium.  Over the years, the Jacops have visited Oklahoma several times and Dr. Lamberton has visited Belgium many times.  As the following pictures show, Antoine and Maria enjoyed one of Jeremy Lamberton's football games and Antoine learned the oil production business on their visits to Oklahoma.  Dr. Lamberton learned the the fundamentals and subtle nuances of the racing pigeon game in the racing and breeding lofts of Antoine Jacops during his visits to Belgium.

Three Super Brothers Bred by Antoine & Maria Jacops

Maurice, the beautiful checkered male in the middle of the three brothers below, was imported by Dr. Lamberton from Antoine Jacops, Vorselaar Belgium in 2004.  Since he has been in Oklahoma, MAURICE has bred AU Champion #1707, Midnight Rider.  Maurice is a cross between the old family of Jacops and the pigeons from legendary Maurice Cassaert.  Two full brothers of Maurice that have both raced in the Antwerp Union Belgium are pictured on either side of him.  One raced to a 2nd Ace Champion in the long distance races and the other achieved 5th Ace racing in the Antwerp Union.  These three brothers clearly demonstrate the unusual prepotency, versatility and consistency of the Jacops pigeons.
