The DARK JANSSEN hen is an Antoine Jacops cross between the excellent pigeons of the Janssen Brothers crossed on the super pigeons of Flor Engels.  The DARK ENGELS is a granddaughter of the Dark Engels that Antoine Jacops acquired from Flor Engels.  Jacops and Engels were very good friends.  The Engels pigeons were crossed on several fantastic Janssens that Antoine Jacops acquired from the Janssen Brothers who were also very good friends of Jacops.  The Janssen pigeons in Jacops' loft are bred down from the JONGE MERCKX, the super hen SCHOON BLAUW, the SCHOUWMAN, the "019" and others.
