The YOUNG VANDEVELDE is a very beautiful blue male that is also a great breeder.  His son, AU 2008 LAMBERTON 48 has been a very good breeder.  He bred AU 2010 CENTENNIAL 81039 blue hen that raced very well in the 2010 young bird race series.  The YOUNG VANDENVELDE also bred AU 2006 LAMBERTON 58 that bred four 1st place winners or equal first racers in the 2007 young bird race season.  AU 2007 TEAM 288, another daughter of the YOUNG VANDEVELDE, was a marvelous young bird and yearling racer for a fancier in New York. The YOUNG VANDEVELDE is a Van De Velde Soontjens cross from Denis Sapin.  Sapin races his pigeons from southern Belgium.  He was mentored by Maurice Van De Velde and Jos Soontjens and these two legendary fanxiers provided Sapin with some of their best pigeons.  The YOUNG VANDEVELDE is a combination of the best pigeons of Soontjens and Van De Velde.
