(1) OUTSTANDING GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT - OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY, 1972


(2) GUIDEPOSTS MAGAZINE ANNUAL WRITING SCHOLARSHIP, 1965 - Dr. Lamberton was encouraged by his high school Biology teacher, Mrs. Nell Guthrie of Tulsa Central High School, to enter an essay in the national annual writing contest sponsored by GUIDEPOSTS MAGAZINE for juniors and seniors is high school  on "The Day My Faith Meant Most to Me."  Dr. Lamberton's entry was based upon a life-threatening injury he experienced when he was sixteen years old roping calves on his family's ranch in Tulsa Oklahoma USA.
