10.10.09 Young Bird Race Results - 150 mile race from Paris, Texas
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: These two races were released in heavy fog. Consequently, the races were terrible smashs. We lost all 4 entries in the A race which were very lightly trained males. This race was their first race and they were sent strictly for training. They have never returned. The females that returned from the B race - even on the second day - were tremendous racing pigeons that were ready to meet the challenge of returning home under the incredibly difficult conditions in which they found themselves. It is my understanding that he Federation lost approximately 70% of the pigeons sent to the two races.
